It’s a…
So after 30 minutes of the closed-leg treatment (again), 2 different ultrasound techs *think* that we’re having a… GIRL!!! They’re about 80ish% “sure”, which isn’t great, but it’s something – and the 2 of them thought the same thing. I might see my friend, Kendra, for a 3D ultrasound on Thursday, so maybe she can provide a little more confirmation. In the meantime, here are a couple of “face” shots from today.

Ouch!!!
So I tripped coming down the last few stairs in my house last night and totally jammed my big toe. Horrible pain. Iced it for about 20 minutes. Today though it’s still swollen and all black-and-blue on the top of my foot. And it’s constantly throbbing pain. I don’t have time for the doctor though… so hopefully it’s not serious… We’ll see how it feels over the upcoming weekend.

Gross
I was super hungry this morning and on my way to work I decided to pick up something… bagel at Dunkin Donuts or Sausage McMuffin from McDonalds. I have no idea what my brain was thinking, but I got the Sausage McMuffin — and now I feel totally gross! Not sure why I’m sharing this, but I haven’t posted anything in a while…
~
Should be finding out the sex of the baby next Tuesday… so check back.

Yes it’s me… just a new design
I changed up the look of my blog design. To me, this is a little cleaner and brighter. Still working on the header image… but this will do for now.

Registered at Babies R Us…
This evening my mother and I went to Babies R Us and started the registry. It’s ID number is: 46336203. Or… click here. It was pretty fun. It’s amazing how much “stuff” is needed.

It’s a…
I-don’t-know!!! He/she would not open his/her legs for us to get a peak. Not even a little. We’ve got to go back on April 28th. Anyways, here are a few head/profile shots from today’s ultrasound.

Is that you?
So starting this past Friday (4/4)… I *think* I’m feeling the baby. I don’t feel any “butterflies” – like many people and books describe. Instead, I feel something like a gas bubble pop or something. I’m not gassy… so I’m thinking it’s not gas. Maybe kicks and punches? I don’t know. We’ll see if it continues. NOTE: It happens most when I’m sitting down.
I’m 18 weeks today. From what I’ve read, the baby is about 8 inches and 7 ounces. We find out what we’re having next Monday. Oh… I’ve also “popped”. In just one week I’ve suddenly got quite the pooch.

$37.49 Pasta Salad!
So… I had a feeling my grocery bill was higher than usual, but then I dismissed the idea because I purchased a few things that normally aren’t on the list – candle, shaving cream, soap, etc… It’s a darn good thing that Dave noticed the price on the lid of the pasta salad I got at the deli. $37.49!!! For 3/4 of a pound! And it wasn’t even very good!
I’m heading to Shaws after work. I went shopping on Monday and no longer have the receipt. I BETTER get money back – or at a minimum, store credit. That’s a lot of money! I’m sooooooo glad Dave was paying attention. I looked at the container for a couple of days without notice…
