Any time now…

I went to the doctor last Friday and everything is looking good. My swelling issues seem to have gone away for now! My blood pressure is good, baby’s heartbeat is good, measuring good, etc… If I don’t “go” by this Friday, on Friday they’re going to do an “internal” to see if I am at all dilated yet. Also “just-in-case” they’re going to schedule an appointment for an “induce” some time that following week. They said they’d rather I didn’t go any more than a week post our due date. So… hopefully she comes sooner than later. I’d rather not need the induce…

Swollen Ankles

Other than some mega swollen ankles and feet, I’m still feeling good. I went to the doctor today and I did gain weight this week. I’ve now gained a total of 16 pounds. My blood pressure is good. The baby’s heartbeat is good. It was a really quick office visit as I don’t have any complaints other than my new swelling issues. The doctor did mention that we are now “full term” and that it’s time to just play the waiting game! Aaaahhhhh…

Anyone???

So I finished writing up all of my baby shower thank you notes to my wonderful family and friends… but I have 1 card left that is a tag from a bag (yellow with small white spots), which lists the gift but not the person!!!

Who got us a dress for the baby and the baby born strap carrier? I want to make sure I express proper thanks for this gift, but I don’t know who you are!!! Anyone???

37 Weeks

So according to what I’ve been reading, lil’ miss Gauthier is now full term! Should she arrive now, her lungs are fully mature and ready to adjust to life on the outside.

Doctor Updates

So apparently I’ve lost weight again… I’m plus 8 pounds TOTAL for my pregnancy. I think I’m freaking out about it more than the doctors. They said that despite the low weight gain, I’m measuring fine – so no worries. They said that everyone carries differently and that I should consider myself very lucky. That all being said – if I lose again next week, they’re going to do another ultrasound to check in.

As for everything else – all is good. Blood pressure couldn’t be better, no swelling, no complaints. I am starting to have occasional contractions, but that’s normal.
