Poor Julia

Julia is sick! She’s got a horrible hard, but loose, cough and a stuffy nose. It makes me sad.

Back at work

I started work full time this week. It’s been bitter sweet. I’m enjoying getting my brain going at work, but I obviously miss not seeing Julia all day. I’ve been told that she’s been having awesome days at daycare, so that makes me feel alright about everything. What I’m most pumped about is that she’s been sleeping great all week at night. We’ve just been doing 1 middle of the night bottle – perfect. From what I hear, in the next few weeks, she might not wake up for that any more! We’ll see…

2 months!

Julia is 2 months! We went to the doctor on Friday for her check-up. She’s doing great. Growing well. She’s now 11 pounds, 13 ounces and 22.5 inches. So since Julia’s been born, she’s gained about 4 pounds and has grown 2 inches in legnth. At this appointment, Julia got 3 shots and one drinkable vaccination. Poor thing. Sleeping is going okay. I’m starting to have a little trouble getting her to sleep well in her crib. I need to stay strong. It’s going to be tough as I get back in to the swing of working and commuting to Foxboro. Daddy’s going to need to start being more helpful…

YEESSS!

I had the BEST night since before I can remember. Best sleep since probably mid-August. Julia fell asleep around 9pm, but was due for a bottle around 10:30pm. She was passed out, but I woke her up by changing her diaper around 10:50pm. I roused her enough to take the bottle. I got her back to sleep by 11:15pm. She didn’t wake up until 5:20am for her next bottle!! 6 straight hours!!! If that type of schedule can somewhat continue or get consistent, it will rule!

On a side, I just noticed a new “polling” feature available. So, I’m going to try it out.
